LAKSHMI Narasimhan is a highly motivated and passionate engineering leader with over 18 years of experience in building high-performance cross-functional teams from the ground up. He is also a certified Scrum Master and experienced in Agile methodologies. LAKSHMI has a diverse technology landscape and is proficient in Java, J2EE, Golang, Spring Framework, Spring Security, JPA, Gradle & Maven, Oracle, Postgres, Microservices, Openshift, AWS 2x Certified, Kafka, CI/CD, Devops, Devsecops, Docker, Containerization, Kubernetes, TAL, and TACL. LAKSHMI has domain expertise in retail payments, ATM, POS, switching, VISA, MasterCard, Amex, Tokenisation, ISO8583, acquiring, issuing, card payments, digital wallets, transaction banking, institutional payments, and fintech. Currently, LAKSHMI is an Engineering Manager at ANZ, where he is responsible for building features for ANZ's corporate customers for a seamless experience in Mobile Apps. He toggles between hands-on engineering and architecting in a cross-functional team to build new features, sets up Devops (CI/CD), shifts security left, runs Cloud learning guilds, works with business to build new features from prototype to product, and provides thought leadership in suggesting and taking new features to the market. He is also responsible for learning and mentoring the team to build new stuff. Prior to ANZ, LAKSHMI was an Engineering Lead at FSS, where he was deputed to ANZ and led and mentored a team of 15 people from FSS across functional platforms at ANZ. He played a variety of roles during this time, including solution design, release management, technical manager, and designed and built the Tokenisation framework at ANZ for Switching. He managed end-to-end delivery of all the resources, resource allocations, backups, replacements, and training strategies, attended monthly status calls, prepared detailed delivery statistics for the month, handled implementations, incidents, and resolving them, and handled resource feedback, issues, and escalations.
